In situations where the City believes that alternate or flexible work schedules, different from those set forth in Section 16.1 above, are needed for operational efficiency and effectiveness, the City will give the Union President and Chief Steward for the Department (where applicable) written notice of the proposed work schedule and a list of those job classification(s)/position assignment(s) affected at least fourteen (14) days in advance of any proposed change(s).
